Biography

       Grant Ebert has recently performed in Manchester University's production of the Invention of Morel that was directed by Kathleen Belcher. He also has was a part of Prairie Fire Theater's HMS Pinafore as Dick Deadeye in Bloomington, IL and Wabash Area Community Theater's production of Mamma Mia as Pepper.

      Grant finished his Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and Literature at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. While attending school there he performed as Marcello in Lyric Theatre at Illinois’ production of La Bohème, the cover for Leporello in Don Giovanni, and Custus/Perkins in Crazy for You. Grant studied with Ricardo Herrera and Jerold Siena. Grant completed his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Manchester University in Indiana, where he studied with Dr. Debra Lynn. While attending his undergrad, he starred as the Husband in Amelia Goes to the Ball, Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni, Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods, and Henry Pimpernel in Christopher Sly.

      Grant enjoys being a substitute teacher for the surrounding schools and working with students. In his free time, he works part time at the Honeywell Center, plays trumpet, and expands his opera and musical theater repertoire.
